Dr. Willis-Goulet completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 under Drs Gail Kunkle and Rosanna Marsella. She became Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology the same year.   She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Hillsborough Veterinary Medical Association.  She joined the team at Florida Veterinary Specialists in 2003.

Dr. Willis-Goulet
specializes in all diseases of the skin, ears, foot pads, anal glands, and nails caused by allergies, autoimmune diseases, endocrine or hormonal disorders (such as hypothyroidism and Cushing’s disease), internal illnesses, skin cancers, and bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.  Her special interests include the treatment of chronic skin allergies, pemphigus foliaceus and demodectic mange.  She also has a passion for the management of chronic ear disease and in using the video otoscope. Video otoscopy uses a magnified camera lens to examine the deeper parts of the ear canal, ear drum, and middle ear. It is very useful in identifying foreign objects and tumors in the canal, abnormalities of the eardrum, and infection of the middle ear. Additionally, instruments can be inserted through the video otoscope to grasp or biopsy objects in the ear canal, or to flush debris out of the ear canal and middle ear.
