Emergency Medicine
Dr. Gladden graduated with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University in 1995. She went on to obtain her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree from North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2002. Dr. Gladden spent her first two years in private practice focusing on avian and exotic animal medicine prior to realizing her passion for emergency medicine.
The following two years in practice Dr. Gladden worked at Dekalb-Gwinnett Animal Emergency Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia treating both companion and exotic animals as an emergency clinician. Dr. Gladden spent the past year in an exotic animal, wildlife and zoological medicine clinical instructorship position at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine fine tuning her emergency and critical care skills working with this specialized group of animals. Dr. Gladden’s interests include avian and exotics, anesthesia and analgesia and emergency critical care medicine. In her personal time Dr. Gladden enjoys spending time at the beach with her dogs and her partner. |
